The Snoutbox is an area located at the bottom of the forum where registered users can gather to discuss whatever issues interest them at that particular moment. Unlike the forums, the Snoutbox has no designated areas for discussion of particular topics. Nothing posted in the Snoutbox is considered off topic, and this includes long winded soliloquys, of which there are no shortage.
The Snoutbox is somewhat similar to a chat room in that conversation takes place in real time. However, unlike a chat room, the Snoutbox has a spam filter which requires chatters to wait 5 seconds between posts, which is incredibly fucking annoying.
